The Burner is a 2.5km Fun Run, 10km tougher run and Summer Fayre organised by a group of Calderdale Primary Schools’ Parents, Teachers and Friends Associations (PTFAs). The event was first set up in 2014 with the intention of raising much-needed funds for these PTFAs to help enhance the experiences children have at their schools. A portion of the entry fees, profits of raffle sales and Summer Fayre stalls gets shared between these schools. We’re really grateful to Covéa Insurance for their support for the 2018 Burner.
How do I enter?
The best way is to complete the online application form. If you’d prefer, you can complete the downloadable paper application form and give it to one of the school’s PTFAs to register you manually or you can register on the day. Registering on the day incurs a £2 surchage.
When will I find out more information once I’ve registered?
Information will be emailed to you in the weeks leading up to the event so it’s important to make sure the email you register with is correct and you are contactable on it. If you’re worried you’ve missed something, email firstname.lastname@example.org and the team will be happy to help.
How can me or my business help support the event?
